Our father who is in Heaven,You sent your son the Messiah to usher us into your spiritual kingdom now even as we look forward to shedding our skin and joining you fully in spirit at the time you choose for each of us.
You also sent Jesus to prove his deity to our mortal minds through miraculous healings and brilliant teaching of truth.
Thank you so much for the earthly life you’ve graciously granted us and the eternal life you lovingly promised us.
Thank you for anointing people to write the stories of your interactions with humans, and for the freedom for each and every human to interpret those stories for him/herself in pursuit of a relationship with you.
Thank you for giving [brother] and myself the opportunity to support [friend] as he turns more of his heart back to you. In awe and humility, I audaciously ask for even more of your abundant grace. Please grant [friend] a miraculous recovery and an abundant life to give you the praise for ALL the good things you do for us.
I humbly ask this in Jesus’ name, because he said anything we ask in his name will be granted. Whether that happens in a way we can see or not, I absolutely trust that you hear and answer this prayer for the good of anyone so loves you.
